This is the bug that stopped me from using Firefox as a default browser all those years ago, and it's still happening in different flavours and DEs. To use Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your device, or use a different profile. I always get this message:įirefox is already running, but is not responding. When Firefox is running (even in a stopped activity), I can't open any links from outside Firefox, or open a new window from outside Firefox (e.g., from a launcher) on another desktop or in another activity.
